What’s happening this month? And next month? And what about the week after that? We all want to know what’s coming out, when it’s coming out, who’s in it, and what it’s about. This is the place where you can get the scoop on what’s happening in the world of entertainment.
Superhero films are incredibly popular, and they appear to be here to stay. (And the law of supply and demand says that should not take much longer for the world to catch up.) With all of the success that Marvel Studios has had with its blockbuster films, other studios are starting to get in on the act. DC Comics has already had success with its DC Extended Universe, which has included films like “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Marvel Studios, on the other hand, has taken a more canon approach to its films by weaving in important crossover moments in the films. The two companies are also planning to release films that will bridge the gap between Marvel’s universe and Sony’s universe, which is perhaps the
At this point, you have some idea of what you are getting into when you see the little number “8” in front of, for example, “8月7日”. And if you are familiar with Japanese culture, you have already guessed that “8” is the Japanese word for “August 7” or “Friday, August 7” in English. 8月7日 (August 7th) is the most watched film in Japan’s history, and it isn’t too hard to see why. Based on the manga of the same name, “Spirited Away” was helmed by Hayao Miyazaki, the director most famous for “Kiki’s Delivery Service” and “Princess Mononoke”.
The director of the thriller “The Card Counter” is currently gearing up for the production of his next film. The Card Counter was only premiered in theaters a few days ago on September 2, 2024, but the filmmaker is already working on his next picture and has already cast the main characters. The main parts have been filled with Sigourney Weaver and Joel Edgerton.
Only intrigue, eroticism, and surprise can be expected from Paul Schrader’s picture. Master Gardener is said to be his follow-up to his previous film The Card Counter.
Date of Publication
It would be premature to anticipate release dates for the film at this time, since the cast and crew have yet to begin shooting for the forthcoming thriller. The film’s production is scheduled to begin in early 2024. Principal photography will begin early next year as well. Paul Schrader wrote and will direct the picture, which will be produced by David Gonzales, Amanda Crittenden, and Scott LaStaiti.
The film’s execution will be overseen by executive producers Luisa Law, Linda Ujuk, and Dale Roberts. HanWay is reported to be reunited with Paul Schrader for the second time, the previous time being in the film “The Card Counter.” HanWay expressed their delight and gratitude at the opportunity to work with one of the best directors once again.
Cast
Deadline (source)
Only the main parts have been cast thus far. Sigourney Weaver will play the part of the landlord, the owner of the large estate where the gardener works, Mrs. Haverhill, while Joel Edgerton will play the role of the gardener who is committed to his job and is devoted towards fancying and decorating the big estate field.
Other supporting cast members are yet to be cast, or if the director has already cast the other cast members, the formal announcement of the cast members and their roles may take some time.
Plot
The Playlist is the source of this information.
The plot follows Narvel Roth (Joel Edgerton), a gardener who works on Mrs. Haverhill’s property (played by Sigourney Weaver). Mrs. Haverhill requests that Narvel accept her great-niece as a trainee and teach her trade skills and other related things; this takes him back in time and threatens to return him to his violent past.
So far, that’s all we know about the sequel to The Card Counter. We’d receive updates as time went on, and as the crew began filming, we’d get more details. Filming is scheduled to begin early next year in the United States.
The Fantastic Four are about to return to the big screen, and if you watch the trailer, it doesn’t appear that the story is going to change much from the first two movies—which is fine. After all, this franchise does have a strong following, and fans are bound to be excited to see the characters they’ve come to know and love on the big screen once more, especially after watching this tepid reboot. But will this version do them justice? We can’t answer that question for sure, but based on the trailer, the answer seems to be ”no.”.
